Video Green Screen is a technique where a green background is created and the subject that has to be shot is placed in front of it. Later while editing the green background color is removed and made transparent, this transparent background is then replaced with any other background suitable for the scene and Presto!! The whole scene is transformed into something amazingly different.

A very common example of Video Green Screen is the weather forecast telecasts that we usually see on the television screens daily and always wonder how such an effect could be created. It's the same technique that has been used here too. The anchor is shot separately with a green background, and then the green background is removed using special video editing software and replaced with an animated video of world map showing different weather conditions worldwide.
